Alabama Annealing Quantum Computing With D-Wave, Davidson

The first on-site annealing quantum computer in Alabama is almost finished being installed by  D-Wave, Davidson Technologies

Now that the construction process is complete, the system is undergoing final calibration and readiness testing as the installation gets closer to completion

The system's assembly and installation represents a turning point in D-Wave and Davidson's relationship and elevates Alabama as a nationwide quantum infrastructure leader

Davidson will use an Advantage2 system to study and develop quantum applications, particularly for the US government's most difficult problems

The system is also meant to be a focal point for future cooperative research, which may involve collaborations with academic institutions, government labs, and defence organisations

With the installation of a quantum computing system in Huntsville, groundbreaking innovations that will protect the nation and solve military problems have been made possible

In the upcoming weeks, the D-Wave Advantage2 system will be calibrated and tested for readiness
