AMD has unveiled the Ryzen 7000G desktop APUs, which are based on the Phoenix family, and the Ryzen 8000 laptop APUs, which are based on the Hawk Point family
Three Ryzen 7000G Desktop APUs in AM5 flavors and three Ryzen 8000 Laptop APUs in FP7R2 flavors are revealed in the OPN list
The AMD Ryzen Desktop APU family is the first in the lineup of APUs based on the most recent AM5 socket, as we have already learned from reports
Both PRO and Non-PRO versions of the Ryzen 5 7500G and Ryzen 3 7300G CPUs would be available in the lineupFor more details visit govindhtech.com
Available in 100-000001183-00 (PRO) and 100-00000931 (Non-PRO) versions, the AMD Ryzen 5 7500G APU has a 65W TDP and is expected to sustain 6 cores and 12 threads
The Ryzen 3 8440U (4 Core / 8 Thread) and Ryzen 5 8540U (6 Core / 12 Thread) processors are among the AMD Ryzen 8000 “Hawk Point” APUs for laptops, which will be an upgrade of the current Ryzen 7040 “Phoenix” APUs
These APUs would use a similarly hybrid Zen 4 + Zen 4C arrangement and should be fairly close to the current Ryzen 3 7440U and Ryzen 5 7540U chips
The AM5 Desktop APUs, with their latest RDNA 3 core architecture, may offer superb integrated graphics performance and the CPU power of the Zen 4 at a lower price point, so it’s fantastic to see an upgrade on this front
